In this document - available on a complimentary basis at the Aventail Web site - Gartner provides it's annual analysis of the North American SSL VPN market and vendor competitiveness. Competitiveness measures are "completeness of vision" and "ability to execute".

In it's recent SSL VPN appliance report - available on a complimentary basis from Juniper Networks - Forrester evaluates SSL VPN Gateways from seven vendors: Aventail, Caymas, Cisco, Citrix, F5, Juniper and Nortel using "57 criteria". Please note that Forrester does NOT perform actual product tests. Instead this market research firm relies on vendor information and customer feedback. Competitiveness measures are the strengths of "current offerings" and strategies".   4. NWC's NAC Battleground. Network Computing conducts "a special project that gives 12 NAC vendors a chance to define how their (own) solution differ from others and how it helps IT protect and manage access to information." While these opinions can not be taken at "face value" together they highlight important issues and tradeoffs that should be considered when planning and specifying a NAC solution.
